I have long been pondering over the value of life, however fruitless so far. But by jotting down what I saw, felt, and read, I realize clearly that the inside self is approaching.

文章

All work and no play make me a dull boy

Exhausted. Recently sleep more often in buses, no matter whether they are home-bound or office-bound. Body aches somewhere, eyes get dry and sour.

Rumor has it that the unit will go broke. So far God knows when our salary will come. On the other hand, we three have to wrestle with the former employer who not only refused to pay us, but also took us to the court after our give-me-salary lawsuit. That bitch!

The dog is sick and coughing all the time. But the appetite is increasing. Plan for a complete bath for the over 3-month-old dog on Friday night and a vaccine this weekend.

Look forward to a long holiday. Good news is that we will have a 4-day vacation in the coming Christmas season.

(FW)Are you ready to take me home?
1. My life likely to last ten to fifteen years. Any separation from you will be painful for me. Remember that before you buy me.

2. Give me time to understand what you want of me

3. Place your trust in me--it's crucial to my Well-being.

4. Don't be angry for me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your entertainment and your friends. I have only you.

5. Talk to me sometimes, even if I don't understand your words. I understand your voice when it's speaking to me

6. Be aware that however you treat me. I'll never forget it

7. Remember before you hit me that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones of your hand, but that I choose not to bite you.

8. Before you scold me for being uncooperative, please ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, or I've been run in the sun too long or my heart is getting old and weak.

9. Take care of me when I get old. You too, will grow old.

10. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never saycan't bear to watch it or let it happen in my absent. Everything is easily for me if you are there. Remember, I love you.

What if girls all behave like this?
Disgusting behaviors like spitting in the public, and littering are very Chinese, and that also explains somewhat why Chinese tourists are discriminated when traveling abroad). My understanding is that girls behave better than boys, and traditional thoughts prove that. However, the girl I saw yesterday evening makes me to reconsider my opinion.

According to traditional thoughts, girls are supposed to behave gracefully, or at least much more than boys. All at once, the girls, whom I saw in a bus yesterday evening, completely changed my opinion.

Fashionably dressed, the girl happened to sit opposite to me. Taking off her chic sunglasses, she began to deal with the salted patridgepartridge egg. Instead of putting the eggshell into a plastic bag (girls often have one in their bags) or the dustbin installed inside the bus, she scattered them to the floor directly. That stunned me! Possibly aware of someone (me, or/and others) watching, she casually fumbled her bag for something.

A piece of tissue, I thought. I was startled again. She took out a tiny plastic bag, tried to clean her hands with it. Then the unique tissue was found on the ground, too. Satisfied, she sat back.

But the story did not end here. She picked up her “tissue” and cleaned her hands for a second time. Finally, she got her earphone ready to enjoy the music from the up-to-date MP3 player, leaving me almost pass out.

Boys are hopeless, I concede, when it comes to good manners. They are rude, stubborn, and untamed. Girls are the only hope to maintain a nice world. Seems that I am very wrong.

Politics I hate, politics I love
Someone famous said years ago, politics is an inevitable issue in a group of two and above. When hearing it for the first time, I responded with a really. I could live in my world, or try not to touch the issue in the future life.  That was the thought then.

More and more, I found that could not be more right. Junior middle school, study not bad. The head teacher recommended me to join the Youth League, an honor regarded by many peers.  Without thinking, yes. That startled me, since I labeled myself as kind of victim of politics phobia. Thanks to years of propaganda, I was completely brainwashed and became the extreme, or hardcore as you can name it, politics lover.

My life is running around politics as the core: I read political news, I translate them, I spread them, I discussed with others about them. I even dreamed politically (chased by Japanese soldiers in the 1937-45 war), maybe watched too much movies. TV, Internet, newspapers, all the sources of political news, I missed none. For broadcasting, I have one radio in my pocket.

Finding a world without politics equals to a mission impossible, no matter how much I aspire. If you cannot beat ‘em, join ‘em; that is the golden rule I learned in university. So I live, though miserably.
